Responsibility Towards the Town - Lisi Lake

In 2012 we began the Lisi Lake rehabilitation project. We wanted this most important urban event to have an exemplary appearance. So, we built paths for running and cycling, created a space for people to exercise, added sports and children’s playgrounds, rebuilt a sulfur bath and that’s not the end of it. We’re not stopping, because we consider nature and green spaces as a responsibility towards Tbilisi and its future generations.

Respecting Space and Terrain

We consider architecture as the most visible example of a synthesis of art and science. It’s the symbiosis of the natural environment, the buildings located according to the forms of the environment, and the people enjoying this unified space, that creates the architectural vision. From the very first thought of the Green Town to the realization of it, we spent the most time and energy making even the smallest details in perfect harmony with the whole picture: Like yards being the natural extension of houses, evergreen fences being the continuation of those yards, having parks beyond the fences, walking paths in the parks and paved roads around them, and the ‘green strips’ carefully aligned along the roads…
